Privacy Policy
How Point Court collects, uses and protects your information, including for email, text message and WhatsApp communications.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PointCourt LLC ("Point Court," "we," "us") handles personal information when you visit our website, book courts, join as a member, register for programs, or opt in to our emails, text messages and WhatsApp messages.
By using our website or services, or by opting in to our communications, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Who we are
Point Court is an indoor racquet club at 5 Browns Road, Nesconset, NY 11767. Questions about this policy can go to info@pointcourt.com or (631) 382-7425.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, billing details, membership and booking history, waiver acknowledgments and preferences. You give us this when you create an account, book a court, join a program or event, complete a waiver, sign up for messages, fill in a form or contact us. Information about your child. If you register a young player, a parent or guardian gives us the child's name, age and any information needed for the program. We collect this from the parent or guardian only.
Payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor through CourtReserve. We do not store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Device and browser details, IP address, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Location. If you allow location services in your browser or device, we may collect your location to help with directions, check-in, personalizing what you see, regional advertising (including through Meta), measuring marketing, analytics and security. You can turn location sharing off in your device or browser settings, though some features may work less well.
4. How we use your information
• Run memberships, bookings, programs and accounts.
• Process payments and send receipts.
• Send service messages: booking confirmations, reminders, waiver receipts, schedule changes and account notices.
• Send promotional messages, only if you have opted in.
• Improve our website and services and understand how they are used.
• Meet legal duties, enforce our terms and keep members and the club safe.
5. Email
We send service emails when you create an account, book or join. We send promotional emails only if you have opted in. Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also contact us to stop them. We may still send service emails you need to use your account.
6. Text messages (SMS)
We send text messages only to people who have opted in, using a form on our website or in person at the front desk. Opting in to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase or of joining the club.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts and HELP for help. Full details are in our Messaging Terms.
Our messaging provider, Klaviyo, sends these messages for us and processes your phone number on our behalf. We keep a separate record of your text message consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not cover the providers that help us send the messages, who may use your information only to serve us.
7. WhatsApp
We send WhatsApp messages through Klaviyo, and only if you have opted in. We may send service messages and, if you opted in to them, promotional messages. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and its own terms and privacy policy also apply. You can opt out by replying STOP, by blocking or muting us in WhatsApp, or by contacting us. We keep a separate record of your WhatsApp consent. See the Messaging Terms for details.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tools to run the website, remember your choices, count visits and measure marketing. These include Google (analytics and advertising), the Meta Pixel and Klaviyo (on-site tracking, so we can send you messages you asked for). Cookies also help us notice unfinished bookings and sign-ups, which may trigger a reminder email or text if you opted in to them. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. You can also adjust interest-based ad settings in the ad platforms you use.
9. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the club, and they may use it only to serve us:
• CourtReserve, for bookings, memberships, waivers and payments.
• Klaviyo, for email, text messages and WhatsApp messages.
• Squarespace, to host our website and forms.
• Our payment processor, through CourtReserve.
• Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising.
• WhatsApp, operated by Meta, to deliver WhatsApp messages.
We may also share information to follow the law or a legal request, to enforce our terms, to protect people's rights and safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
10. Third-party links
Our website links to other sites and services, such as the CourtReserve booking pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
11. Security and how long we keep information
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections, secure storage and access controls. No system is completely secure.
We keep information as long as we need it to run your account, meet legal duties, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your information except what the law or our records require us to keep.
12. International data transfers
If you live outside the United States, or we use providers with servers in other countries, your information may be processed in the United States or elsewhere. We use providers that protect it and we follow the privacy laws that apply to us.
13. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of promotional emails, texts and WhatsApp messages at any time. To make a request, contact info@pointcourt.com. We may need to confirm who you are first.
14. Children
Our services are for adults and for young players who take part with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information without a parent's consent, tell us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and we will post important changes on this page. Using our services after a change means you accept it.
